Last night I did an interview for bbs Internet radio. This is the second one I have done with them, and, as these things go, you never really know how it will go or what to expect. You connect with an interviewer, they read your stuff, you read their stuff, and then you get together and talk.

Welll, last night’s interview was with American channel Marcia MacMahon, who channels Princess Diana among others. With my work with Indigo and Crystal children, the topic turned to children. We talked about the conflict in the Middle East, and then about how children are being affected by this. Then we talked about the needs of children globally, and how we, as a global society, are often failing the needs of our children.

Then, when I got up this morning, I checked into CNN to be confronted by images of an eight year old Lebanese child who had been horribly wounded by an Israeli attack. The message was clear. It is the children who are suffering in these terrible conflicts that adults engage in.

I would like to be able to just “switch off” these images and ideas. In fact, I went outside to sit in my garden and enjoy the winter sun and the peace. But…..even here….I could hear the sounds of police or ambulance sirens in the neighbourhood. It occurred to me that in many ways, we are living in a traumatised society. And that is globally. We are all traumatised.

Well, the idea of Ascension is that we would all wake up and become fully conscious. And so we have. We have become aware that what we have created is a bit of a nightmare. And so we are given the opportunity to choose again and create something different.

This is the true meaning of Ascension. The Joy and Peace only come when we create them here on the planet. And first we have to learn the lessons of Global Compassion. We have to feel the pain and the trauma as if it were our own, which in fact, it is. And then, we choose to release these illusions and create the Global Peace that we desire.

And I guess we have to start at home. With ourselves. We have to begin learning to live with compassion and understanding, and with the desire to create something new. We have to feel empowered to make that choice.

This goes beyond “taking sides”, and blaming, which is often our first knee-jerk reaction, to seeing the need for compassion and love for all who are caught up in these destructive spirals of negativity and fear.

When I posted Nadia Annicchiarico’s Global Peace Meditation, I was happy that here at least was a tool for Lightworkers to use. For we need to dream peace and hold the intention of peace.

I think it is quite difficult not to get caught up in the media stream of trauma, and to hold the vision for Peace and Love.

The true meaning of Ascension is that we understand our power to hold this vision of Peace and Love. And to choose to create that reality. It is a matter of choice. Not to get involved in age old spirals of negativity and trauma which are often highly manipulated, and focus instead on creating peace in the present moment, as a conscious choice. And this starts with how you love and support all those around you.

I was also reminded of a channel I did last year from Kwan Yin, where she pointed out that compassion as a spiritual quality meant holding the vision of the highest possible outcome in any situation. Holding that Uncondtional Love in your Heart and making it available to others. Seeing that all are children of light seeking to express that light, just not really knowing how as they caught up in these vortexes of trauma.

And so, as Lightworkers we can work with the Indigo and Crystal children, who are showing us where and how we can exercise our empowered heart energy of compassion.

In these difficult days, hold the energy of Peace. It is the time of the Lion’s gate when the energy of the Divine Feminine in the form of Isis, enters into the planet. Do not let this loving energy be lost in the creation of more trauma and angst. Honor the Divine Feminine in each one of us by extending Love and Compassion to All.

It is your choice. You are Empowered and Ascended Beings. You have made that choice.

Now - lets make the choice to really manifest the changes we all want to see.

Let’s hold the focus and the energy on Global Compassion - the true meaning of Ascension.

Working with the current high energy flows is pretty challenging. Being in the Fifth Dimension is pretty challenging! But I suppose no more challenging to us than to trees.

We are all One, and I had that lesson brought home to me this week.

First I was having to deal with the high energy intensity flows of the mild geo-magnetic storm that the Earth has been experiencing. On one day I just felt turbo-charged. I could feel the energy just rocketing through my body, and the only way I could settle that energy was to go for a good long walk near the river.

I was reminded of some work I did with an early Crystal child about five years ago. Back then, when I first started working with these children, I was the queen of serene myself, and I felt great sympathy for these kids who seemed to battle so with the intense energies and were labelled ADD. I remember one child who was about six years old, who was wonderful and charming and intelligent and always moving. When I asked her if she never relaxed at all, I remember her looking at me quite plaintively and saying: “There is just too much energy in my body”.

Yeah….me too….right now there is just too much energy in my body.

Of course the big question for me is how to get back to my serene and centered self. I think its a big question for a lot of us who are trying to work with this new fifth-dimensional crystalline body. I certainly never thought I would end up feeling the way that these children feel, but well, here we are in the Fifth and moving at speed……

I have found so far that exercise in nature helps. I feel such sympathy for the poor kids who, when feeling this way, get shoved into a classroom and told to sit behind a desk and listen. I know I would just explode if that was done to me on a high energy day. So I go for long walks in nature instead.

So, yesterday I end up next to the river after a good brisk walk. I like to imagine that I am a tree standing next to the water with all the other trees. I stand very still, after all I can’t move, and I imagine what it must be like to live the life of a tree!

Well, first of all, I just watch the clouds drifting by in the sky, as the weather shifts and changes and day becomes night. Of course, trees don’t have eyes to see this, but they must feel in some way the shifts and changes in the energy fields around them.

Then I imagine birds landing and squirrels scampering up the branches. Hmmm…gets quite busy.

And the wind blows the leaves around. Sometimes soft and gentle, sometimes hard and rough.

And then I imagine talking to the other trees and sharing “tree news” about what other trees are feeling and sensing…….

And then I think about the inner life of trees. The water rising up through the trunk from the roots and being sent out to every leaf. The leaves working like little factories, turning light into food for the tree, creating clorophyll, taking in carbon dioxide and giving out oxygen.

And then I think about the cycles of a trees life. It is winter right now and all the leaves have fallen, but there are small tight little buds on the branches waiting for spring. And I imagine what it must be like to lose all your leaves and then to have to get a new set every year. Is it hard work, or does it just flow naturally?

Whew…as you can see, the life of a tree is quite hectic!
Much like ours I imagine.

And yet trees just stand there and are so peaceful and serene. They seem to radiate a presence of great love and harmony.

How do they do it?

I guess because they emanate the great peace and harmony of the Cosmic Heart.
Its a lesson for us.

Life can be hectic and busy and eventful and filled with energy. But we can still learn to emanate the peace and harmony of the Cosmic Heart.

For within this busy and productive cycle of energy and life…..there is also a place of great serenity and calm.

Think about that the next time you walk in a forest. Feel the calm and the peace of the great trees, but imagine also the energy and the vibrance as the trees conduct their own lives. You only feel the peace and the calm.

So for us there must be a ‘lesson” in the life of trees. We must be able to find that place of calm and peace in the midst of all the frantic energy.

And maybe when we do, we can help the crystal children who come to the planet and get caught up in our frantic dance of life. We cannot yet teach them peace and serenity, for we have yet to learn them ourselves.

I am taking lessons from the Life of Trees.

How to be in the energy and work with it in life-giving ways, and yet to be peaceful and calm and serene.
Its about staying grounded - roots in the Earth - and giving out only what is calm and peaceful and supportive.
Bending with what comes in the flow, being flexible and supple and non-resistant.
And just being what you are and allowing all else to flow around you.
When you focus on being Who You Are, then the flows do become easier and you are not uprooted by their violence or their changes in direction.
So, having a good “root system” means being fully grounded in material reality and appreciating what supports you in the material world, while still allowing for the flows of Spirit and energy all around you.

Indeed I am learning much from the Life of Trees!
